How counselling can help you

Discussing your problems with a counseller, and your feelings about those problems, can help you to find solutions and move forward with your life. Our counsellers can address whatever issue you think is important, but counselling is commonly used to help with:

  • Past traumas
  • Relationship issues/Family breakdown
  • Depression/Anxiety
  • Grief
  • Low self esteem
  • Problems at work/Stress
  • Lack of hope


Our person-centred counselling service

A FREE counselling service is available from Church on the Street in Burnley.

The service is confidential, and everyone who uses the service will be treated with unconditional positive regard.

We have fully qualified male and female counsellors.

Appointments are available between 10am and 3pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Counselling sessions last up to 50 minutes, and can be booked once a week, for up to 8 weeks.
